Redondo Beach attractions:
- Seaside Lagoon/The Strand (0.2 miles) – The beaches immediately surrounding our hotel are the area’s top draw, luring crowds in with clean sand, sparkling water and wide expanse. Taking the short walk to Seaside Lagoon is the most convenient way to enjoy the Pacific. Just a couple of blocks from our hotel, the Lagoon gives families space to swim, sunbathe or play sand volleyball. The Strand is a 22-mile bike path that runs up the coast through Redondo Beach. It allows bikers easy access to the area’s beautiful beaches.
- Port Royal Marina (0.1 miles) – Located just across the street from our hotel, Port Royal Marina is an active marina that hosts boardwalk events on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. The 338-slip marina allows guests to berth for a weekend or longer and is home to the Port Royal Yacht Club, which features a terrific view of the harbor.
- Venice Beach (13.5 miles) – The most famous California beach sits just a short drive south of the Sunrise Hotel. Venice Beach is known for its 2.5-mile-long pedestrian walkway, which possesses a lively atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to walk or bike along the ocean.
- J. Paul Getty Museum (20.5 miles) – One of the most frequently visited art museums in the nation, the Getty is located just a short drive up Interstate 405 in the stunning hills of Bel Air.
